Executive Strategies, Inc., a national general management search firm, is recruiting for a regional director, human resources to reside in the Sacramento area. Our client is a large, international and rapidly growing construction services organization.

Position requires a BS degree in HR, psychology or other related field, sound HR generalist skills and experience providing HR support to a unionized workforce. Reporting directly to the Division President and indirectly to the CHRO, will provide HR support to a geographically disbursed unionized workforce throughout several states.

Experience must include:
• Solid employee relations/labor relations experience, including interpretation of union contracts and maintaining sound business relations with union representatives
• Solid HR skills to include compliance, compensation and performance management
• Experience developing and delivering programs on leadership, safety, HR compliance, proactive employee relations and other related topics
• Managing workforce planning and staffing resources
• Managing the integration of acquisitions into the current workforce and structure
• Coaching and counseling of management and other staff"
